Take the A82 south from Inverness.
Follow this road along Loch Ness and past Castle Urquhart, through Fort Augustus
and Invergary to Fort William. At the West End hotel roundabout coming out of Ft
William take the 3rd exit onto Achintore roundabout/A82 heading to Crianlarich/Glasgow.
After approximately 1500 metres you will reach the end of the street lights; we
are on the left at the 40 mph sign.
From Glasgow - approx 2.5 hours
Follow route out to Greenock/Kilmarnock/M77. At junction 30, exit onto M898
Motorway/M898 toward Erskine/Bishopton. Continue onto A898 (signs for Glasgow/Crianlarich/A82).
Take the exit onto A82 toward Crianlarich - Go through 5 roundabouts. Turn right
to stay on A82 (signs for Crianlarich/Ft. William/Oban/A85). Turn left to stay
on A82 (signs for Fort William/Oban/A85). Slight right to stay on A82 (signs for
Fort William) go through 1 roundabout. Continue to 'welcome to Fort William'
sign. 1.4 miles beyond this Burnlea is on the right on the 40 mph stretch.
From Mallaig (if you have come over on Syke
ferry) - approx 1 hour
Head south on Davie's Brae/B8008 toward Victoria Rd. Continue to follow B8008.
Turn left at A830. At outskirts of Fort William, turn right at Lochybridge Jct/A82
(signs for Fort William). Continue to follow A82 through Fort William. At the
West End hotel roundabout coming out of Ft William take the 3rd exit onto
Achintore roundabout/A82 heading to Crianlarich/Glasgow. After approximately 800
metres you will reach the end of the street lights; we are on the left at the 40
mph sign. You will be travelling through beautiful but remote countryside. Leave plenty of time, and check where you can get petrol,
especially if travelling at night or on a Sunday when garages can close early.

Inverness Airport is well serviced for links throughout the UK and more European
links are opening all the time. London flights can be caught from Heathrow,
Gatwick, Luton and Stansted. Hire cars can be collected from the airport, or
there are regular bus links to Inverness itself. The drive from the airport
to Fort William is approximately 2 hours (see below). Please check on the
